Leather finishes vary. Always patch test on a small hidden area, allow it to dry completely and stop if you are unhappy with the result.
Which leather types can I use it on?
Totel Protect is specially formulated for high-end, premium finished leathers — the kind used in luxury handbags. Avoid suede, nubuck and unfinished leathers, and always follow the directions on the product packaging.
Are there any materials I should avoid?
Avoid suede, nubuck and unfinished leathers unless Totel Protect confirms otherwise. If you are unsure what kind of leather you have, check with the item's manufacturer or contact us before applying.
Do I need to patch test first?
Yes. Always test on a small, hidden area — such as the base of a bag or inside a pocket — and allow it to dry completely before full application. If the leather changes in any way you are not comfortable with, do not proceed.
How often should I apply it?
Use when the leather begins to look or feel dry, following the directions on the product packaging.
